Road to MAGfest 2015- January 9th, 2015

The last piece of my costume came in last week, the gakuran. It is a military style jacket that male high school students wear as a uniform. It was custom made for me. The sleeves seem a bit short when I move but they sit right when my hands are at my sides. It came earlier than I thought it would. I think they were able to ship it faster than expected. I will put on the entire costume to take a picture for the blog.

If you have not noticed, I went from posting a bunch of Let's Play videos at once (as many as I recorded at once) to posting on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Right now, we are doing different badges of Monster Loves You, Cthulu Saves the World, and I am going to be redoing Theme Hospital level by level when Mikey cannot LP with me.

Why so many LPs at once? Well, sometimes we want to do a quick LP in one session, other times we have the time and energy to work on a larger LP, and sometimes Mikey does not want to LP or we do not have time to do it together, so I have to have one to do myself.

I hope you will watch the LPs and like, comment, subscribe, or whatever you want to do. It's a hobby.

The Bondage of Markiplier

Mark awoke in an upright position, his body incredibly stiff. He tried using his arms and legs but they would not budge from their splayed positions. Am I tied up, he thought to himself. Panic was beginning to crawl through his nerves. When he tried to turn his head to look at his binds, he found that he could not move his neck. He could only move his eyes. They revealed nothing but darkness but he could not feel a blindfold on his face. What is going on? He could hardly hear himself think over his own heartbeat and hard breathing. Possibilities swam through his head like hundreds of guppies in a glass tank.

Concentrate, Mark.

Whatever he was tied to, it was spongy and soft. Maybe if he pulled hard enough, he could break free. With every muscle, he pulled himself forward. There was a spongy  surface in front of him too but it was giving way through the force. The slab in front of him fell over, as did he. A flash of blue and tan against a white background caught his eyes before he slammed into the wood floor below him. He could no longer feel the spongy surface on his back yet his arms, legs, and neck were still stiff. However he found that he could wriggle enough to go forward. He had in fact been on a wooden riser and was crawling face-down onto the wooden floor about six inches beneath it. It would really hurt to get splinters in my face.

His left foot touched something sharp before it came off the riser. It nearly cut him. If I can turn myself around and angle myself properly, I might be able to cut my bonds on whatever my foot touched!

It seemed like hours had passed before Mark had reached the edge of the riser again although it had always been right next to him. It was so hard to move. Swinging his left side over the riser, he pulled his other side up. Success.

Below him lay a large metal blade with a wide handle. It's a sword! No wait, it's a giant knife? He stared at his reflection in the stainless steel. He had not been tied up at all. His disposition was much worse. He only had a moment to take in his square, whole-wheat reality before he was overtaken by the sudden and uncontrollable urge to become toast.

Canalave Calamity

Despite the Pokemon gym across the bridge, Canalave City was a peaceful port. Residents were used to trainers coming in to challenge Byron and gain their mine badge. Their presence was a huge boost to the city's economy since they would stock up on potions at the pokemart. Eldritch took them to the islands via his ferry. He used to love sailing with young trainers and hearing of their victories but he has not been the same since his son got sick. Maybe one of those trainers will come back with something that will help both his son and Eldritch's depression.

It was on a day like any other when all the commotion happened. Dawn pulled the Barry through the streets by his hair, beating his face against houses and the steel bars holding up the bridge. They went into the pokecenter where Dawn proceeded to beat Barry's face on the counter several times. There was a look of horror on the face of the nurse on duty that day.

Dawn pulled out her pokeballs and made Barry apologize to each one of them before handing them to the nurse to heal. After he apologized, she banged his head on the counter. By now, he had a black eye and his nose must have been broken. Then she went over to the computer, logged in, took out her poison barb, and beat him with it.

The pokemart could not have anticipated the couple barging in a few minutes later. Barry could barely walk and his nose was dripping blood. They went to the far back wall to the display cases where she banged his face against the glass, leaving a smear of blood on the panes. They made a mess when she slid his face over the shelves in the middle of the store and knocked everything onto the floor. The ladies behind the counter were too frightened to yell at them. After bashing Barry's head against their counter like she had in the pokecenter, she looked up at the ladies and smiled.

"Hi," she squealed with the voice of a demon child. "He'll take three revives and 15 super potions." Then she plucked his wallet out from his pocket, slammed his head against the counter for good measure, and paid the ladies. They did not ask questions and handed the merchandise over to Dawn. "Thank you!" she squealed again as she put all of it in her satchel and dragged Barry back outside.

She finally let go of him in front of the bridge but began kicking him and shouting. "I looked all over for you at Hearthome with the pokemon I used to beat Fantina, but you were nowhere to be found. So I grabbed my lower level pokemon to share experience with my higher levels as we traveled here. I go across the bridge to see what kind of pokemon I need to beat Byron, and that's when you show up? When I have lower level pokemon an am in a new town? I still beat your ass but not without having to revive my best pokemon several times! Do you know how long it is going to take for me to gain back a good reputation with those creatures? How many times I am going to have to go back to Veilstone to get them massages? I can only get one a day! Go... fuck... yourself!" Each word was followed by a kick to the stomach. By this time, Barry might have been unconscious from the pain. No one saw him moving. They only heard groans.

Finished, Dawn spit on him, took his gym badge, and threw it into the canal before going to the gym to continue her business.
